We’ve been keeping some exciting news to ourselves these last couple months, and I’m excited to finally share it with you. This week marks the opening of Colony on Collins, our Miami Beach pop-up in North Beach!
Colony on Collins
7421 Collins Ave
Miami Beach, FL
Open Wednesdays 10-6 PM and by appointment
Colony on Collins marks our very first exhibition outside the bounds of our beloved NYC. We’ve pondered the idea of a satellite showroom before, but nothing has felt quite right. That all changed this past fall when our friends at ANDOTHERS Studio reached out with an opportunity to join the community revitalizing Miami Beach’s well-kept secret, the neighborhood of North Beach.
With a site specific installation at 7421 Collins Ave, we’ve brought our roster of emerging and established voices into communion with Miami Beach culture. The industrial space’s high ceilings and exposed systems remind us of our roots on Canal Street. That said, the neighborhood itself is decidedly its own—ocean views and local businesses abound. There is also more sun and a fair amount more cheerful street chatter than we’re used to encountering in NYC. We would love nothing more than to host you and your clients for a visit the next time you are in town!
Like our Tribeca location, Colony on Collins highlights our roster of emerging and established voices who continue to shape the future of American design. Among the works on view are pieces by Studio Paolo Ferrari, Moving Mountains, Bec Brittain, Grain, Allied Maker, Thomas Yang Studio and Studio BC Joshua. We are particularly excited to bring work from former Miami Beach resident Sarah Sherman Samuel and Miami-born textile artist Anjuli Bernstein back to the neighborhood.
This Wednesday, April 1st we begin taking appointments by the beach. Reach out if you are in the area, we would love to host you!
