We are hiring: Project Manager

Colony is seeking a hyper-organized, detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team full-time. This role will provide wide-ranging operational and logistical support to the core functions of our interior design practice and cooperative gallery space.

You will work directly with our small team on interior design project management and gallery support. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience working as a residential interior designer, but is truly passionate about the organizational work, timelines, and execution that keep a studio running efficiently.

Interior design project management (80%)

  • Attend client facing interior design meetings, presentations and site visits. Process and assign all resulting notes and action items

  • Create, manage, and strictly enforce project timelines to keep all projects moving forward

  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, including generating purchase orders, tracking vendor lead times, and managing warehousing

  • Serve as the primary logistical point of contact for clients, architects, general contractors, and custom fabricators

  • Track project budgets meticulously, maintaining up-to-date financial reporting on product costs, shipping, and labor

  • Coordinate and oversee on-site residential installations, resolving any discrepancies or site issues swiftly

Gallery and event support (20%)

  • Assist with logistical coordination for gallery exhibitions, industry events, and brand partnerships

  • Coordinate receiving deliveries, artwork shipments, and overall logistics per event

  • Support run-of-show and day-of needs during studio gatherings and gallery openings

  • Assist with coordinating catering, rentals, and additional vendor concerns as needed
