Spec Sheet: Cove/Arc Cabinet by KWH

Designed by KWH, the Cove/Arc Cabinet is made of solid wood, giving it both a physical and visual weight. The piece features a continuous concave arc detail that wraps around the entire profile, revealing the collection’s signature end-grain craftsmanship. After working with more decorative concepts earlier in his practice, Kai-wei Hsu of KWH returned to solid wood and considers it pivotal to his work. As he said in Jean Lin’s book, What We Keep, “I’ve started to let the material and the process speak in the design itself.” This perspective is evident in the Cove/Arc Cabinet: a simple form and elegant details render the piece classic and unique at the same time.
