Spec Sheet: Lido Sofa by Studio Paolo Ferrari

The work of designer Paolo Ferrari is at once sculptural and entirely livable. Studio Paolo Ferrari's Lido Sofa is crafted in Toronto where the designer and team remain closely connected to prototyping and production. At Colony, we adore the near neon version that graces our gallery floor, but the Lido's two sizes are also available in COM. 

Firm enough to retain its form from all angles, the singular seat cushion is one to be sunken into. Detailing how its construction relates to Ferrari's design intent, the studio explains; "The Lido Sofa appears to be floating in midair with extra-thick cushions and plush backing. Here the typology of a sofa is broken down into a series of extra soft layers and re-assembled."
