The Iturbide Quilt by Meg Callahan features a linear repeat that is punctuated by the contours created in the patchwork construction. Available in a traditional T-shape to accommodate draping over bed corners or in standard rectangle. This piece was conceived for Colony’s group show, Balance / Unbalanced, 2018.

Tanjo is a unique sculpture of bone and mixed media designed and constructed by Taos-based Chad Manley. The wall-hung monochromatic sphere makes a statement while invoking the spirit of the desert.

Dish Side Table by Grain

The Dish Side Table by Grain features a solid wood top with a sloping underbelly inspired by hand carved African stools. This Limited Edition Dish Side Table features three sculptural legs paired with a concave tabletop crafted from Douglas Fir. This side table also doubles as a stool.

Lummi Quilt

Lummi Quilt by Meg Callahan

The Lummi Quilt by Meg Callahan is one in a series of patchwork pieces that center around optics and geometry. The design features a skewed section of stripes creating a riff in an otherwise continuous pattern. Each stripe is attached by hand in a traditional quilting process.

Candle: Three

Candle: Three. A scent that has transformed our second floor Canal Street design gallery into a sensory oasis, the Three-Two-Four Candle embodies Colony’s pursuit of substantive beauty. Deep notes of leather and fresh tobacco lifted by the warmth of earthen spices have long welcomed us into the airy space we call home. Memorialized by a minimal white pillar, the scent sits atop a tonal terrazzo base.

The Karla Quilt by Meg Callahan is part of the rope series that explores a nuanced quilting technique in which piping is run through sewn channels to create a highly textural, linear pattern. This piece was conceived for Colony’s group show, Balance / Unbalanced, 2018.

Conception 02: Dawn by Nina Cho

From the Nina Cho’s Maung Maung Mirrors collection, Dawn is composed of three different colors of tinted mirror arranged to invoke a setting sun. With it’s artfully minimal composition and functional design, this mirror can stand alone or pair with Night.

Porter Quilt by Meg Callahan

The Porter Quilt by Meg Callahan is an expression of an interest in the construction and deconstruction of patterns. The Porter Quilt is made using the “strip quilting” technique, in which large stripes are sewn together and then cut down and rearranged to create a new pattern. In this case, stripes were cut to strips, and then sewn into stripes again

The framed piece is ink on newsprint and is created by Tommy Panigot, a Michigan native via Parisian roots who embraces the visual craft in his endless love for the printed and tangible end. His trajectory is the constant reconciliation of his Americana and European history through the disciplines of design and paint.

COUPLE is a series of concentric trivets produced from thin slabs of natural stone. Each set is made from from one piece, preserving the natural patterns of the material like the pieces of a puzzle.
